  Hello and Welcome to the Elemental Blog! I am so happy that you are here. I hope that this blog is a way for you to connect with the Elemental Studios community, learn more about the staff and students, and more.  This blog is for anyone and everyone who is open to coming to Elemental Studios to try out one class or multiple classes, and wants to learn more. It will include interviews from the staff, students, and Masterclass instructors, as well as some other posts to be included on the blog.   Hello Everyone and welcome to the Elemental Studios blog! My name is Coral Barnes, I am the author and writer of this blog. I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself to you all, so I hope you enjoy my biography as well as some other fun posts that I will be including on the blog as well. I am an Austin, Texas native that moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado on December 1st, 2022. I took ballet as a kid for a few years, doing it during my elementary school years, but eventually quit that to do tumbling gymnastics. I got interested in dance again during the COVID-19 pandemic in Austin, and during this time, I met my close friend and dance mentor, Haley Sikes, who I had met at a K-pop Club night event who encouraged and motivated me to take hip-hop classes with her at Balance Dance Studios and ElectrikCity Dance Movement. Class Level Guide Are you not sure which class is right for you? What does each of the dance levels mean? What should I expect? I will try my best to answer your questions below. Beginner Level/Introductory/Fundamentals These classes are best suited for people with little to no experience or for those who would like to revisit their fundamentals in a slower-paced environment. These classes offer an opportunity to grow at your own pace and slowly discover your dance style in the class you are participating in.  Intermediate Level These classes are best suited for dancers with moderate dance experience who feel comfortable in a class setting and want to learn more complex movements that combine many fundamentals learned in the beginner level/introductory/fundamentals classes. These classes also offer additional training for dancers who want to advance in those dance styles or revisit a style that they have experience in.
